The Foundation in Support of Educational Excellence will hold its 20th Anniversary Gala Cocktail Reception on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Kanopi in White Plains, NY.

We will be honoring George E. Pataki, former Governor of the State of New York, and Eduardo LaGuerre and Sobeida Cruz, whose vision and perseverance led to the creation of Yonkers’ first and only charter school. We will also present a memorial award as a tribute to the late Joe Cotter for his profound contributions to the school’s success.
